Theatre Prices (Standard Fee)
These are my normal asking fees for theatres, festivals, local authorities, block bookings, arts centres and public venues/events.
This is a ROUGH GUIDE only as fees are negotiable (up or down) depending on the situation and location. I apologise for this ambiguity but I wish to make the theatre accessible to as wide an audience as possible - whilst remaining fair to myself and others in the puppetry sector.
Promoters of festivals and other events should note that out of fairness to all, I generally expect not to be paid less than other professionals performing in the same festival/event - even though this may be higher than the fees indicated on this page.

School Prices (Concessionary Fee)
These prices are special rates for schools who book me directly and pay me out of their own funds. Term-time & school hours only. Multiple performances are offered at low cost to allow schools flexibility, especially where there is no suitable space dark enough and large enough to accommodate all the children in one sitting.
Out of fairness to me, schools agree not to sell tickets or make a profit from the show (ie any cost per head must cover my fee only.) If you are not sure about this please call me to discuss. 0845 458 9779 or 07740 980481
Private Parties & Other Organisations
Fee negotiable - somewhere between theatre and school price - call me on 0845 458 9779 or 07740 980481. I can usually do birthday parties etc for similar fee as schools depending on location. Business customers should be prepared to pay theatre fees.
Expenses
Schools: Prices vary across Scotland. click here to download Schools Price List 2011-12 which includes expenses by region for most of Scotland Travel expenses apply to workshop prices on a per day basis (unless overnight accommodation is involved).
Theatres: Travel is included for venues up to 60 miles from Livingston; further afield by negotiation.
If overnight accomodation is required, this is not included in any stated prices.
Disclosure Scotland application fees are not included in any stated prices.
* Prices for more than one performance are applicable only where the performances are in the same place on the same day. Please note that if two or more performances are required on different days or in different locations (this includes different rooms) they will count as separate bookings.

Workshop Prices
Fees for most of my workshops and classroom-based work are charged by the day or half-day and vary by region. These prices apply to SCHOOLS ONLY. If you are not a school and would like a workshop, please contact me.
A half day workshop on the same day as a show is available to schools at a discounted rate. This applies to Shadow Puppetry Workshop and Workshops for Nursery (Nursery workshops, although shorter, are still charged at the "half-day workshop on same day as show" rate, per workshop)
